Broadview Dental Clinic is a locally owned family and cosmetic dental practice in Riverdale, in the heart of the Danforth, led by two experienced Toronto dentists — Dr. Peter Ioannidis, DDS and Dr. Renu Varshney, DMD. Both are members of the Ontario Dental Association and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, and both provide nitrous oxide sedation for anxious patients.

Dr. Peter Ioannidis, DDS

Dr. Peter Ioannidis leads Broadview Dental Clinic’s restorative and implant care and has helped train the next generation of Toronto dentists at the University of Toronto since 2004.

Dr. Peter Ioannidis received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1998 from the University of Western Ontario. He also holds a B.Sc. in Biological Sciences and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Windsor.

A member of the Ontario Dental Association, Dr. Ioannidis has been a fourth-year restorative clinical instructor at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry since 2004 — a role that keeps him at the leading edge of the restorative and implant techniques he brings back to his patients on the Danforth.

Dr. Renu Varshney, DMD

Dr. Renu Varshney brings decades of comprehensive family dentistry to the Danforth and helps lead the profession as a General Councillor with the Ontario Dental Association for downtown Toronto.

Dr. Renu Varshney received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Manitoba in 1996 and completed her dental residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto.

Dr. Varshney currently serves as a General Councillor with the Ontario Dental Association representing downtown Toronto and is a Past President of the Toronto Central Dental Society. She is a founding member of Restoring Smiles, a non-profit organization that provides free dental treatment to women who have survived domestic violence.

Her focus is on improving your oral and overall health through regularly scheduled hygiene appointments and education on the best home-care techniques for your individual needs.

Chris Murphy ThyagarajRDH

Chris is a Registered Dental Hygienist who graduated with honours from the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and received his B.Sc. in Biology at Burman University in Lacombe, Alberta in 2016. He has a strong commitment to continuing education and is passionate about helping patients achieve their optimal oral health through preventive treatment, patient education and demonstrations.

Jacqueline LeRDH

Jackie is a Registered Dental Hygienist and an Honours graduate from George Brown Dental College. Her craft is a blend of intimate knowledge and a calm, gentle touch that gives her patients a comfortable experience while she works with the team to protect your oral health.
